Charles Ewing is a Boston-based performer, educator, and artistic administrator, who holds a master’s degree in classical guitar performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. Active as a soloist and chamber musician, Charles has performed in several notable venues including NEC’s Jordan Hall and the Museum of Fine Arts. His former teachers include Eliot Fisk, Jérôme Mouffe, and Daniel Acsadi, and he has performed in the masterclasses of Grisha Goryachev and Roland Dyens, among many others.
Prior to attending NEC, Charles completed his undergraduate studies at Tufts University, where he double-majored in music and economics. He is now the Artistic Director of the Boston Classical Guitar Society, guitar faculty at the EKS Music School, and holds key administrative positions at NEC’s Boston GuitarFest and the Longy School of Music of Bard College.
